Ready for another run? Dead Cells: The Queen and the Sea DLC is out now and brings with it plenty of new enemies to hack and slash your way through.

All the DLC purchases help to support the ongoing development of Dead Cells, with more free updates planned and it also goes towards Motion Twin's next project that's currently under development. We're expecting at least another year of free updates, which they announced previously. It may be longer, if sales keep up.

One of the best fighting games on PC is expanding again, with the latest character getting a full DLC that's in Early Access right now with Skullgirls: Umbrella. Previously limited to an Alpha for those who have the Season Pass, this is your chance to grab the full character alone.

You will still need to opt into the Beta to access it, but now they've also pretty much finished the story mode for Umbrella too but the developers said it still need another go over some minor bits to fully finish. Check out the new trailer below, which also gives us a teaser of the next Skullgirls character to come in 2022.

I honestly wish I had the finger reflexes and brainpower to master Skullgirls. It really is a great fighting game, but like a lot of them it just feels way too difficult for my tiny brain. Can't help but appreciate the wonderful attention to the finer details that Skullgirls has though.

After a year in Early Access, the Oxygen Not Included - Spaced Out! expansion has now officially launched.

This is a pretty great looking expansion for a game that I already firmly loved, with Klei Entertainment really putting in the effort on this one to give players many reasons to go out and buy it. The idea of sending your little people off into the unknown to start another colony is great. If you were after the ability to build up a whole lot more, this is an essential purchase for ONI fans.

Seems Paradox and Colossal Order aren't done with their city builder just yet, as the Cities: Skylines Airports DLC was just announced for release on January 25.

Rain on Your Parade is a little gem that released back in April, a game where you fly around as a little cloud and mess things up for everyone and now it's set for an expansion.

The unimaginatively named "Rain on Your Parade DLC: New Levels and Features!" will release on December 15, bringing with it a healthy dose of extra content. There will be new levels that are just as bizarre as the original set from helping a baby dragon to competing in a musical competition, new achievements, new cloudy powers, developer commentary, a development museum to see "first-hand just how AWFUL the game looked for the first half of development" and plenty of new gags to make you chuckle through it.

Legend of Keepers: Feed the Troll is the first expansion to the clever mix of dungeon keeping and turn-based auto-battling that somewhat resembles the Boss Monster card game.

First though, a big free upgrade is out now for everyone bringing with it 11 new monsters, 2 new traps and 3 new artefacts as well as a new mission for each master. Pretty sweet for a free update, named Wrath of Draconids, the release trailer for the update is below:

As for the expansion, Legend of Keepers: Feed the Troll, that's likely due to release next year (no release date given) and it will come with these additions:

• Shaman master
• 5 missions
• 3 Conjurations to choose from when getting a Promotion including a passive and two random spells
• 10 Spirits monsters
• Exclusive game mechanics: Sun and Moon Blessings giving passive abilities to Spirits monsters. Each Blessing is also increasing a specific type of damage for every monsters.
• 3 traps
• 5 artefacts

Developers at Motion Twin / Evil Empire have announced Dead Cells: The Queen and the Sea DLC that will be releasing in early  2022 (Q1) and it has a teaser.

The developer has said it will cost $4.99 at release, which will help continue to fund another year of free updates for Dead Cells along with the next project from Motion Twin. The Queen and the Sea finishes the path started with The Bad Seed and Fatal Falls, giving you a new ending to the game.

"Battle your way through sunken shipwrecks, scale a soaring lighthouse and confront your deadliest foe yet. If you manage to make it through all that, maybe you’ll finally get off this god-forsaken island...

This late-game content will give you an alternative to the High Peak Castle/Derelict Distillery and Throne Room biomes."

While they said it will get another year of free updates, that's pretty much the minimum they're going for. Sounds like they will go longer if the game and DLC continue selling well enough and they only just did a big cross-over .
