Australian-born American billionaire, Rupert Murdoch’s global media empire has consistently led the charge in pushing anti-China narratives in the Western media.

Encompassing a long list of highly influential media, including both television and print media in the liberal and conservative camps, the list of talking points aimed at Beijing is immense.  

For example, The Wall Street Journal’s Editorial Board argued on Monday that China “is paying for the Communist Party chief’s policy mistakes,” referring to Chinese President Xi Jinping. Leatherhead is about twelve miles from Maybury Hill. The scent of hay was in the air through the lush meadows beyond Pyrford, and the hedges on either side were sweet and gay with multitudes of dog roses. 

The heavy firing that had broken out while we were driving down Maybury Hill ceased as abruptly as it began, leaving the evening very peaceful and still. We got to Leatherhead without misadventure about nine o’clock, and the horse had an hour’s rest while I took supper with my cousins and commended my wife to their care. My wife was curiously silent throughout the drive and seemed oppressed with forebodings of evil.

I talked to her reassuringly, pointing out that the Martians were tied to the Pit by sheer heaviness, and at the utmost could but crawl a little out of it, but she answered only in monosyllables. Had it not been for my promise to the innkeeper, she would, I think, have urged me to stay in Leatherhead that night. Would that I had! Her face, I remember, was very white as we parted.

In the last few years, astronomers have spotted a handful of gigantic and almost perfectly circular radio objects out in the distant universe. Though no one has an explanation for these mysterious entities yet, a team has recently added another one to their catalog, potentially moving them closer to solving this head-scratcher.

The enigma began shortly after the Australian Square Kilometre Array Pathfinder (ASKAP), a bank of 36 colossal dishes in Western Australia that scans the heavens in the radio part of the electromagnetic spectrum began producing maps of the entire night sky in 2019.

ASKAP scientists were mainly looking for bright sources that could indicate the presence of black holes or huge galaxies glowing in radio waves. But some in the team are always on the hunt "for whatever is weird, whatever is new, and whatever looks like nothing else," Bärbel Koribalski, a galactic astronomer at Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) and Western Sydney University in Australia, told Live Science.

My brain is a strange place. A really strange place. Because while other people think about normal things like what they are going to do later, I daydream about pizza. Because pizza.

Let me back up.

Last weekend, it was gray and rainy and cool. We were having a lazy Saturday hanging out, all three of us in our pajamas, under the covers, watching Princess Sofia. It was pretty much perfect. Minus the Princess Sofia part. 

I have seen the entire series now several times through. Hence my mind was wandering just a little bit.

And next thing I knew, just a few short hours later, I found myself at her house eating a buffalo chicken boat and making this pizza.

As a woman with ADHD (who also happens to be an introvert with social anxiety), I know first-hand. If you’re anything like me, you might be more likely to forget to respond to texts and calls, are prone to running late, have trouble staying engaged in conversations, have a tendency to overshare or talk too much when speaking, or deal with rejection sensitivity. 

Especially during the last two years, when different levels of comfort with social activities have made in-person hangs even more fraught, staying on top of friendships can feel nearly impossible at times.
