Is Valorant Escalation Mode Getting Removed Everything You Need To Know

Since its inception, Valorant, Riot’s first-person tactical shooter, has seen a steep rise in popularity among gaming enthusiasts. Valorant started with three game modes, Unrated, Spike Rush, and Competitive . Then, last year, the devs introduced Deathmatch as a practice mode. Now, the latest addition to the tac shooter, “Escalation Mode,” quickly became a fan favorite in Valorant.

Recently, the community is speculating if Escalation will remain in the game or not. Well, let’s dive further into the article to find out what Riot has in store for the future of Valorant Escalation mode.

Is Valorant Escalation A Rotating Game Mode?

Valorant’s madness-filled Escalation mode was initially launched as a rotating game mode. Rotating game modes are released for a short time before another game mode replaces them. Originally, Valorant released Escalation as a limited-time mode, however, Riot Games now has other plans.

Jared Berbach, Riot Games’ Producer, discussed further plans for rotational game modes, including Escalation, in a tweet.

According to Berbach, Escalation mode will remain in Valorant “for now, as long as queues are healthy and matches are quick to get into.” However, he also clarified that Riot is looking forward to introducing more rotating game modes.

Initially, Spike rush was also meant to be a limited-time game mode, as Riot confirmed . But with its “demand,” “queue health,” and “sustained engagement,” Spike Rush has become permanent, said Riot. On the other hand, another temporary game mode from last year, “Snowball fight,” was rotated out of the game.

    Upcoming Valorant Game Modes

As stated in a tweet by Berbach, Riot is also working on a “Warmup mode” for Valorant. The said mode will allow players to join matches in progress. The Warmup mode, if launched, will be an infinite match in which players can drop in and out as they please. To put it simply, Warmup mode will be a different version of the current game mode, “Deathmatch.” Furthermore, this type of gameplay will allow players to practice and have a healthy gaming experience.

As there is no particular release date for Valorant’s upcoming Warmup mode, we’ll have to wait and see if and when Riot releases it. For now, the good news is that Valorant doesn’t plan on removing Escalation for some time.

Valorant Episode 2 Act 2: Release Date, New Agent & More

      pubsub.do.nohost.me / FossBytes · Tuesday, 23 February, 2021 - 12:06 · 3 minutes

Valorant Episode 2 Act 2 Release Date, New Agent, & More

Valorant Episode 2 Act 1 came with some important map changes, a new battle pass, and the new agent ‘Yoru.’ So, it’s no wonder why players are still enjoying the VALORANT Episode 2 Act 1 . However, several Valorant enthusiasts are already keen to learn about the upcoming Valorant Episode 2 Act 2.

Surprisingly, Riot Games has already started teasing some important information about the upcoming Valorant update. So, in this post, we’ve gathered all the new Valorant leaks to update you about the Valorant Episode 2 Act 2. Without any further ado, let’s get started.

Valorant Episode 2 Act 2 Release Date

Valorant Episode 2 Act 2 release date will most likely be March 2, 2021. That’s because the Episode 2 Act 1 Battle Pass is coming to an end on March 1, 2021. Considering the Riot Games’ past trend, the new Valorant Act update will release right after the current Battle Pass ends.

Nevertheless, it’s important to note that Riot hasn’t confirm any release date for the upcoming Valorant update yet. So, it’s best not to get too excited about this release date just yet.

New Valorant Agent: Are We Getting A New Agent In The Next Update?

Rejoice, Valorant players who are eagerly waiting for a new controller in the game. Recently, John Gosicki, the character producer at Valorant, confirmed that the developers plan on releasing a New Valorant agent soon.

Interestingly, this new Valorant agent will be a Controller. Gosicki confirmed that the new Valorant controller would be for “galaxy brain” players who like to study entire maps in Valorant.

Right now, Valorant only has three controllers: Omen, Viper, and Brimstone. So, it’s good news that players will soon get a new controller in the game.

    “Pain Aux Raisins”

A recent Valorant Episode 2 leak states that the upcoming Agent might originate from ‘Ghana.’ The new Night Market also teased some African symbols pointing towards Ghana. According to the leaked in-game files folder, Agent 15 will speak French, a language widely spoken in Ghana.

Moreover, the leaked files’ sub-folder is named “PainAuxRaisins,” which means ‘raisin bread’ in French. It is probably a reference to the upcoming agent’s origin or a phrase that the agent might use.

As for abilities, the Valorant Episode 2 Act 2 leak says that the new agent will have both smoke and flash abilities. So, there’s no questioning that the new Valorant agent will fall in line with Omen, Brimstone, and Viper.

Other than that, there’s a leaked Valorant VFX sprite called ‘Plexus,’ flaunting a pyramid shape. As of now, it’s hard to say anything about ‘Plexus,’ but it might be the upcoming agent’s unique ability that we’ve never seen before.

Talking about Agents, the new Valorant Act will get buffs for Yoru. On the other hand, players have been asking for Viper changes for a very long time. Unfortunately, Riot confirmed that Viper would not get any updates in the next Valorant Act.

    New Valorant Map

It’s been 4 months since Riot released the Icebox map for Valorant. So, there’s a huge possibility that Valorant Episode 2 Act 2 will get a new map. However, officially, Riot didn’t confirm a new Valorant map for the upcoming Act.

Overall, players loved the design of the Icebox Map. That’s because, unlike other Valorant maps, Icebox provides more vertical angles to players, making things more challenging. So, it would not be surprising if developers release the new Valorant map focusing more on the verticality.

That’s all we know about Valorant Episode 2 Act 2 right now. We’ll update this post as soon as we get some more information on the next Act.

Valorant Mobile Leaks Release Date, Gameplay, & Everything We Know

Riot Games’ Valorant launched last year and instantly became one of the best competitive games. Millions of players around the world love playing this hybrid of Overwatch and Counter-Strike: Global-Offensive. Right now, only PC players are fortunate enough to enjoy Valorant. However, several rumors state that Riot is already working on Valorant Mobile.

The mobile gaming community is growing substantially, and now, the players are looking forward to the release of VALORANT Mobile. That’s why, in this post, we’ve mentioned everything we know about Valorant Mobile.

    VALORANT Mobile Leaks

After the successful run of games like PUBG Mobile and COD Mobile , it’s no surprise that Riot Games also wants to capture the growing market through VALORANT Mobile. Officially, there isn’t much we know about the mobile game for VALORANT. Still, there are several leaks on the internet that might give you some idea.

    VALORANT Mobile Release Date

There have been rumors and leaks suggesting that VALORANT mobile is in development. However, Riot Games didn’t validate any of the leaks, so there is no confirmed VALORANT Mobile release date.

As of now, Riot only confirmed that the developers are “working” on a console version of VALORANT. So, it might be possible that we get the console version of the game before VALORANT for Mobile.

VALORANT Mobile String Codes & UI

Last year, a VALORANT player reported that his hybrid device revealed the VALORANT Mobile UI. Of course, it was a bug that leaked such important information. So, the player informed the same to Riot. In response, the developers said that the glitch occurred because the player’s laptop had a touchscreen. So, it’s quite clear that Riot was testing a VALORANT UI for the touch devices at the time.

Months after the VALORANT Mobile UI was leaked , data miners found the string codes for the mobile version of VALORANT. The string codes got leaked right after Patch 1.12, and it was enough to confirm that VALORANT Mobile is already in development.

The leaked “Tutorial Strings” were instructions for the VALORANT Mobile’s practice range. For instance, there was a string for the “jump button” to “jump over the debris.”

Right now, these are all the VALORANT Mobile leaks we could gather for this post. We’ll update this pot if we find something interesting about the game’s development.
