I tried to follow a person on #Mastodon but couldn't for some reason. It appeared that that particular instance defederated my home instance. And there were tens of intstances in block list! Even #Lemmy instance which I use defederated from Mastodon instance I use. This is ridiculous. It really brakes connectivity. I thought that instance admins block other instances only when it's absolutely necessary but looks like they block instances if they don't like anything on them. #fediverse
