Auch 2023 gibt es ein Awareness-Team beim Camp. c3awareness ist z.B. für euch da, wenn:

ihr belästigt oder diskriminiert wurdet,
-
eure persönlichen Grenzen missachtet wurden,
-
ihr (persönliche oder strukturelle) Diskriminierung mitbekommt,
-
ihr euch unwohl fühlt und eine Person zum Reden braucht.
Am direktesten sind wir per DECT (113) zu erreichen, ansonsten aber auch per Mail und via Mastodon. Wenn ihr kein DECT zur Verfügung habt, könnt ihr auch z.B. zum Infodesk gehen oder eine Person mit DECT bitten, uns anzurufen. Oder ihr kommt zu unserer Anlaufstelle beim CERT.
Falls ihr euch fragt: „Kann ich damit schon zum Awareness-Team?“, dann lautet die Antwort: Ja! Wir sind für euch da.
Persönlich erkennen könnt ihr uns an unseren pink-lila leuchtenden Badges (siehe oben).
Wie wir arbeiten
Wir haben einen Raum für vertrauliche Gespräche zur Verfügung, wenn ihr reden möchtet. Ihr entscheidet, was ihr uns erzählt. Und ihr entscheidet, wie es dann weitergeht. Wir unterstützen euch dabei, Umgangs- oder Handlungsmöglichkeiten zu finden, wenn der Bedarf besteht. Wir behandeln alles Besprochene vertraulich, es sei denn, wir verabreden etwas anderes.

Wenn ihr etwas erlebt habt, was ihr zur Schiedsstelle bringen möchtet, begleiten wir euch gerne oder bereiten das mit euch vor. Die Schiedsstelle ist zuständig, wenn ein schwerer Verstoß gegen die Prinzipien der Veranstaltung vorliegt und formale Maßnahmen gegen eine Person eingeleitet werden sollen. Wenn es um körperliche oder gesundheitliche Probleme geht findet ihr beim
CERT
Hilfe. Beim Thema Sicherheit könnt ihr euch an die
CrewCrew
wenden. Mit beiden Teams arbeitet das c3awareness-Team bei Bedarf auch eng zusammen.
Falls euch die vielen Eindrücke, blinkenden Lichter, viele Menschen oder laute Geräusche zu schaffen machen, findet ihr im QuietPlace einen ruhigen Ort. Das c3auti-Team bietet Unterstützung für Menschen auf dem autistischen Spektrum, der Ort ist auch für alle ruheliebenden Wesen gedacht.
Das c3auti-Team hat auch bei der Organisation von Accessibility allgemein geholfen. Der Helpdesk bietet zum Beispiel neben Hidden Disabilities-Badges auch Lösungen, wenn ihr nicht in Schlangen anstehen könnt.

Ein Schritt dahin ist es, sich mit den eigenen Bedürfnissen und Grenzen auseinanderzusetzen. Und sich bewusst zu sein, dass diese bei anderen Personen anders sein können. Dazu sollen die „

Duschen
Das Thema Duschen hat uns im Vorfeld des Camps ordentlich beschäftigt. Die Herausforderung, gemeinsam mit anderen zu duschen, ist für Menschen unterschiedlich groß. Deshalb verraten wir euch hier schonmal, welche Duschmöglichkeiten es (wenn nix schiefgeht) geben wird. Hier der Plan – der sich aber noch ändern kann, je nach Lage vor Ort:

Duschelemente mit Einzelduschen zu bekommen, war nicht möglich. Daher haben wir uns um zumindest ein paar improvisierte Einzelkabinen bemüht.
Awareness-Team kennenlernen
Du willst uns kennenlernen? Dann komm zu unserem Workshop! Wann? Das wissen wir leider noch nicht so genau … Es wird aber auf jeden Fall etwas von uns bei den Self-organised Sessions geben, was wir auch über Mastodon ankündigen werden.
Ansonsten kannst du dich auch gerne einfach so bei uns melden, falls du Dinge absprechen möchtest für den Fall, dass du uns in irgendeiner Weise brauchst, oder um schonmal ein paar Gesichter gesehen zu haben.
Wenn du bei kommenden Veranstaltungen Teil des Teams sein möchtest, kannst du uns bei dem Workshop deinen Kontakt geben oder dich sonstwie bei uns melden. Auf das Camp bereiten wir uns schon seit ein paar Monaten als Team gemeinsam vor und nehmen erst nach dem Camp wieder Menschen auf.
Kinder und Jugendliche
Beim Camp werden viele Kinder und Jugendliche anwesend sein. Das ist toll!
Zum ersten Mal wird es dieses Jahr ein Jugend-Village geben, das u.a. von Jugend hackt organisiert wird. Jugend hackt hat eine eigene Awareness-Struktur, mit der wir aber auch in engem Austausch sein werden. Wir als c3awareness sind bei Bedarf natürlich auch für Teilnehmende aus dem Jugend-Village ansprechbar.
Bitte achtet bei Workshops, Talks, in euren Villages und an den Bars besonders auf (andere) Kinder und Jugendliche. Beantwortet Fragen, unterstützt bei Bedarf, seid euch aber auch des besonderen Schutzbedarfs bewusst. Auch auf dem Camp gilt das Jugendschutzgesetz. Es regelt unter anderem den Konsum von Alkohol und Tabak.
Personen unter 18 ist das Rauchen nicht gestattet. 16- bis 18-Jährigen darf Wein, Bier und Sekt verkauft werden, jedoch kein Schnaps, Longdrinks u.ä.
Die Mitglieder des Jugend-Villages erkennt ihr an zusätzlichen Bändchen. Die Bändchen für 14- bis 16-Jährige sind grün, die für 16- bis 18-Jährige pink.
Das Family Village gab es auch 2019 schon. Es ist ein Bereich am hinteren Ende des Camp-Geländes, der besonders geeignet für Kinder und deren Begleitung ist. Mehr dazu gibt’s in der

There will be an awareness team at the camp in 2023 again. c3awareness is there for you if, for example:

you have been harassed or discriminated against,

your personal boundaries have been violated,

you experience (personal or structural) discrimination,
-
you feel uncomfortable and need a person to talk to.
The most direct way to reach us is by DECT (113), but you can also contact us by mail, via Mastodon or Matrix. If you don’t have DECT, you can also go to the Infodesk or ask someone with DECT to call us. Or you can come to our contact point at CERT.
If you are asking yourself, “Can I go to the Awareness Team already?”, the answer is: Yes! We are there for you.
You can recognise us in person by our pink-purple glowing badges (see above).
How we work
We have a room available for confidential conversations if you want to talk. You decide what you want to tell us. And you decide how to proceed from there. We will support you in finding ways of dealing with the situation or taking action if the need arises. Everything we discuss is confidential, unless we agree otherwise.

If you have experienced something that you would like to bring to the Arbitration Board, we will be happy to accompany you or prepare this with you. The Arbitration Board is responsible if there is a serious violation of the principles of the event and formal measures are to be taken against a person. . The c3awareness team also works closely with both teams when necessary.
If the many impressions, flashing lights, lots of people or loud noises get to you, you can go to the QuietPlace. The c3auti team provides support for people on the autistic spectrum, their place is also for all quiet-loving beings.
The c3auti team has also helped organise accessibility in general. For example, the helpdesk offers Hidden Disabilities badges as well as solutions if you can’t wait in queues.

Principles and “Your Rights”

One step towards this is to look at one’s own needs and limits. And to be aware that these can be different for other people. The “

” posters are intended to encourage this.
Showers
The issue of showering was a major concern for us during the preparation phase of the camp. The challenge of showering together with others is different for different people. That’s why we’re letting you know what shower options there will be (if nothing goes wrong). Here is the plan – but this can still change, depending on the situation on site:

It was not possible to get shower elements with individual showers. Therefore, we tried to get at least a few improvised single cabins.
Meet the Awareness-Team
You want to get to know us? Then come to our workshop! When? Unfortunately we don’t know exactly yet … But we will definitely host something as a self-organised session, which we will also announce via Mastodon.
Otherwise, feel free to just get in touch with us if you want to arrange things in case you need us in any way or to have seen some faces beforehand.
If you want to be part of the team for upcoming events, you can give us your contact at the workshop or otherwise get in touch with us. We have been preparing for the camp together as a team for a few months now and will take people on only after the camp.
Kids and Teens
There will be many children and young people at the camp. That’s great!
For the first time, there will be a “Jugend-Village” (Teens Village) this year, organised by Jugend hackt and others. Jugend hackt has its own awareness structure, but we will also be in close contact with them. We as c3awareness are of course also available for participants from the Teens Village if needed.
Please pay special attention to (other) children and underage teens at workshops, talks, in your Villages and at the bars. Answer questions, provide support if needed, but also be aware of the special need for protection. The Protection of Young Persons Act (“Jugendschutzgesetz”) also applies at camp. Among other things, it regulates the consumption of alcohol and tobacco.
People under the age of 18 are not allowed to smoke. Wine, beer and sparkling wine may be sold to people aged 16 to 18, but not schnapps, long drinks or similar.
You can recognise the members of the Jugend-Village by their additional wristbands. The wristbands for 14- to 16-year-olds are green, those for 16- to 18-year-olds are pink.
The Family Village already existed in 2019. It is an area at the back of the camp site that is especially suitable for children and their companions. You can read more about it in the
